Two recent graduates of RSAMD who have been described as "scintillating enquiring minds", with Hedley Benson, principal trumpet with the BBC SSO, in a programme of Corelli, Ewazen, Gershwin, Ravel and John Maxwell Geddes.

Both established performers in Britain and beyond, Australian violinist Alice Rickards and Aberdeen-born cellist Sonia Cromarty come together to demonstrate just what's possible from 8 strings, 4 f-holes and 2 bows. They bring to Huntly a programme of Scottish and Australian music alongside classics of the duo repertoire by Beethoven and Ravel.

Classical accordionist Djordje Gajic began his musical studies in Serbia at the age of 6, finally graduating from the Russian Academy of Music in 1993. He is now an accordion professor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and St Mary's Music School.

In Inverurie he will play a varied programme of original music and transcriptions for the accordion by Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Zolotaryov, Semyonov, Dranga, Albeniz and Villa-Lobos.
