The Value of Age 2013

Inverurie's Festival of Creative Ageing

Welcome!

The Value of Age Festival is presented by the Gordon Forum for the Arts for a second year, providing opportunities for older people to get involved with the arts in a variety of ways. In these pages you'll find music, exhibitions, performances, hands on craft activities – a host of ways to enrich your life or the life of an older relative or friend.

We also ask for your ideas and experiences at a lunch discussion called We are the Future where you have an opportunity to voice your opinions on the Value of Age and to inform how we take this festival forward.

The programme this year features the rich heritage of the North-East, in its music, poetry and storytelling, but at the heart of it we are offering the simple pleasures of company, laughter and – looking through the programme – quite a lot of tea and cake! So do please take part. If you have transport problems call this number, 01651 891396, and we'll do our best to help you join us.
