An exciting afternoon of creative debate and workshops that will reveal the real experience of ageing. This is your chance to voice your opinion on what you think "the value of age" is and discuss your ideas with professionals dealing with age related issues. Discussion topics will include social isolation, dementia, gender equality, ageism and the Men's Shed. Your opinions and ideas will be gathered up and used to inform future Gordon Forum activities. Remember there's no such thing as a free lunch!

The afternoon is led by artist Merlyn Riggs, with guests Professor Marysia Zalewski (Head of the School of Social Science at Aberdeen University), Susie Gentle (Age Scotland), Shona Ormond-Smith (Project Officer, Aberdeenshire Council working on activities in Care Homes), Dr Ian Clark (retired Consultant Psychiatrist and Chairman of the GFA) and Susan Cassie (creative practitioner).
